Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Interior Designer / Sales professional to join our team specializing in custom cabinetry and remodeling projects. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their design preferences, provide expert guidance, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with design consultations, presenting product options, and ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine creative design skills with sales expertise in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their interior design needs, preferences, and budget considerations for custom cabinetry and remodeling projects.
- Provide professional design consultations, including space planning, material selection, and aesthetic recommendations.
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate cabinetry styles, finishes, hardware, and accessories that align with their vision.
- Prepare detailed design proposals, 20/20 and/or 3D renderings, and presentations to help clients visualize their projects.
- Actively promote and sell our range of custom cabinetry solutions by demonstrating product features and benefits.
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, providing guidance throughout the decision-making process, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and installation teams to ensure project specifications are met accurately and on schedule.
- Follow up with clients post-installation to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships for future projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and design innovations to offer current and innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in interior design or sales within the cabinetry or remodeling industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, materials, and finishes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Ability to create compelling visual presentations using design software or hand sketches is a plus.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Prior experience with sales techniques and product promotion is advantageous.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
