- Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems
- Lead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors. Includes on-site TDY testing support, completing training to operate weapon system equipment at test facility and performing Unit Under Test functional checks.
- Ensure execution of test schedule by collaborating with test facility staff and daily status reporting to leadership.
- Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464)
- Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features
- Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle
- This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems
- BS or BA degree
- 5 years test and evaluation experience in Army weapon system qualification testing
- Experience with evaluating systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464)
- Must be a US citizen
- *Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Hands on Test and Evaluation experience
- Redstone Test Center (RTC) or other lab experience
