Front Desk Admin Specialist – 32 hrs a week

Salary

Base Salary: $19.70 - $22.81/hourly

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Schedule 32 hrs a week Fulltime (.80 FTE)

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays – 1:30pm – 9pm

Tuesdays – 1pm – 7pm

Fridays – 10am – 3pm

Position Summary

Serve as primary face to face contact at the front desk to greet and direct clients and visitors; answer and directs incoming telephone calls to destination; answers routine questions and relays/forwards information as necessary. Provide site based administrative support to provide integrated, efficient and high-quality services for clients and staff including completion of face-to-face administrative intakes and appointment scheduling, administrative program support, and administrative support for site / branch managers and service providers. Provide specialized program support as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of clerical/administrative work experience.
  • Front Desk or Administrative support experience in a behavioral or medical health setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
