Your Responsibilities
- Follows all safety rules and procedures; attends and participates in daily crew safety.
- Learn the layout of the operation and gain knowledge of the recycling process.
- Cleans up areas of the facility (stock off floor, bale organizing, and other cleaning assignments); assists as general labor on equipment upkeep and maintenance.
- Works as a team with fellow operators on a variety of production responsibilities and problem-solving scenarios.
- Train to load and unload raw material and finished product.
- Forklift, Skid Steer and Trailer Jockeying experience desired.
- Completes other tasks as requested by supervisor.
Your Background and Strengths
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Must show a commitment to an interdependent safety-first attitude.
- Must be available for rotation shifts and overtime
- Some manufacturing experience and consistent work history preferred.
- Must be mechanically inclined and understand mechanical principles.
- This job entails bending, walking, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.
- Ability to communicate well with others and able to lead team meetings.
- Ability to work independently and in a team empowerment culture.
