Grocery Associate

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with locating and selecting showcase items
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized department
- Stock showcase and ensure products are properly displayed
- Handle financial transactions accurately
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and new arrivals
- Collaborate with team members to achieve customers wants

Requirements

- Must be available to work at least 1 weekend day a week. We can not accommodate every other weekends.
- Most shifts available are from 12pm-9pm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of grocery products and brands is preferred
- Experience in retail or sales is a plus
- Strong customer service skills

Summary

As a Grocery Counter Clerk, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while assisting shoppers in selecting products and managing transactions. Your core skills in basic math, communication, and cash handling will ensure efficient service at the grocery counter. You will also engage in stocking and sales activities, contributing to the overall shopping experience. With your relevant experience in a grocery store environment, you will help maintain a welcoming atmosphere and support the store's operational goals.
