What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deli Grocery Clerk position at Cantoro Italian Market & Trattoria?
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with locating and selecting grocery items
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock showcase and ensure products are properly displayed
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and new arrivals
- Collaborate with team members to achieve customers wants
Requirements:
- Must have deli slicer experience.
- Must be available to work at least 1 weekend day a week. We can not accommodate every other weekends.
- Work from 12pm-9pm
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of grocery products and brands is preferred
- Experience in retail or sales is a plus
