Customer Service Representative

Canton Roofing is currently searching for a full-time Customer Service Representative to be one of the first voices our customers hear when they contact Canton Roofing. This role is a key part of our day-to-day operations. You will answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, coordinate with sales representatives, and help keep communication clear between customers and our team. The right person is friendly, dependable, organized, and confident on the phone.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for the right person to help support our customers and keep our team running efficiently.
Hours Needed: Daytime Shift 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (M - F)
Weekends and Evenings: Rotating weekend and evenings coverage may be required as needed.

Qualifications:
- Friendly, professional, and confident on the phone
- Strong communication skills through phone, text, and email
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using scheduling tools, CRM systems, and basic computer software
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and proactive
- A team player who takes ownership and works well with others
- Previous experience in customer service, front desk, scheduling, or office coordination is preferred, but not required
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional, friendly, and confident manner
- Schedule appointments for estimates, inspections, and service visits
- Coordinate calendars with sales representatives based on location, drive time, and availability
- Reschedule appointments as needed and clearly communicate updates to customers and team members
- Respond to customer questions and help create a strong first impression of the company
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, appointments, and notes in our CRM
- Confirm upcoming appointments and assist with follow-up communication
- Support daily office workflow and help keep operations organized
- Assist with general administrative and customer service tasks as needed
