Canton Family Vision Clinic is seeking a part-time Optometric Assistant to join a dedicated team. This role is key to our quality patient experience.
We are looking for someone who is:
Able to perform a medical interview. Detail oriented. A learner. Computer savvy. Customer service focused. Reliable. An excellent communicator.
The position will interact with patients by performing a detailed medical interview. Additionally, optometric medical testing such as auto-refraction, auto-keratometry, retinal and optic nerve scans, screening and threshold visual field, and anterior and fundus photography. Patient room preparation, contact lens education and training, electronic prescription management, and some administrative duties are all a part of the job. This team member would also utilize patient greeting and phone skills.
Schedule:
Business hours M, W, Th and occasional Friday mornings with a 60-minute break over the noon hour. No evening or weekend hours! Competitive salary with the opportunity to advance with additional training and certifications.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 β 32.0 per week
