Duties:
Tellers are the most visible representative (the “front-line”) of the financial institution and thus the impression they make with customers is an important quality for developing and maintaining account relationships. You will help complete transactions, uncover financial needs, recommend products and services to help them meet their goals, and refer them to team members at the bank when appropriate. With each interaction, you will ensure compliance with our policies, procedures, security requirements as well as government regulations.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of banking or other retail customer focused experience
- Cash handling experience, preferred but not required
- Great interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written
- General math skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude for working with new systems and software
- Personal, reliable and available to work occasional Saturday mornings (with a comp day off)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
