Cantina is looking for Kitchen Managers to work at our Sugar Hill location. We offer Salary Positions and Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurances available). Must have experience working in a full-service, high volume kitchen as well as experience managing employees. Starting pay up to $60,000 with the correct experience.
Key responsibilities for our culinary team include:
- Maintain food quality with sense of urgency towards check times
- Strong communication skills with ability to motivate kitchen team
- In charge of leading, teaching, and developing current and new staff
- Help prepare and create weekly specials
- Ability to work 8-10 hour plus shifts, ability to stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to grasp, lift and or carry up to 50 pounds
- Knife skills to suit station prep
- Culinary cleanliness to health department code
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station while practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Able to Write a Weekly Work Schedule
- Able to work with Excel spread sheets for inventory and cost controls
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities is a must, ability to lead by example, and stay upbeat and positive under pressure
