- Current state registration as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
- IV certification preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently
- Enter prescription and physician order data into the pharmacy’s data processing system
- Pull stock bottles and prepare medications for packaging and dispensing
- Affix prescription and auxiliary labels to medication containers
- Reconstitute medications as required
- Package and label pre‑packaged medications
- Assemble and audit emergency kits
- Perform sterile and non‑sterile compounding in accordance with regulations and best practices
- Procure and stock pharmaceuticals and ancillary supplies
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Support maintenance of pharmacy equipment, environmental controls, cleanliness, and organization
- Utilize pharmacy operating systems, digital imaging software, automated dispensing systems, and Microsoft applications
- Participate in scheduling, coordination, and preparation of medication deliveries
- Assist with training newly hired technicians and student externs as assigned
- Support auditing of patient records as needed
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive work environment
- Ensure patient and resident safety at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
