Job Summary:

TheraCare Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to manage client and staff schedules across multiple locations. You will maintain accurate scheduling, coordinate staffing needs, and address day-to-day changes with care providers and clients. Additional responsibilities include generating and interpreting reports, managing visit utilization and employee productivity, and supporting patient safety.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate (college preferred)
• Licensed Vocational Nurse, per the state requirements.
• Prior scheduling experience preferred with multiple disciplines
• Good computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook
• Experience using HomeCare HomeBase preferred
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Ability to articulate interpretation of reports
• Excellent customer services skills, both internal and external
• Well organized with the proven ability to be efficient while multi tasking
  
  

Essential Functions:

• Understands and adheres to established TheraCare Home Health policies and procedures
• Maintains accurate scheduling for clients and staff for multiple disciplines
• Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes
• Provides staffing for sick leave, vacation, long term leave
• Produces reports and articulates interpretation to the administrator
• First line in visit utilization, missed visits and employee productivity
• Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned
