What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Football Coach position at Canterbury School of Florida?
Canterbury School of Florida is seeking a Junior Varsity Head Football Coach for the 2026-2027 season. Experienced candidates must align themselves with Canterbury's mission statement and core values and successfully complete a pre-employment background screening. Currently, there are no teaching positions available.
Qualified candidates will have:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
- Coaching experience at the middle or high school level.
- Familiarity with academic eligibility requirements for student-athletes.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and community partners.
