Full-Time -Food Service Direct Support

Canteen Services Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Direct Support team member to assist food service operations across correctional facilities in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. This role involves frequent travel (including overnight stays), working in structured kitchen environments, and supporting daily meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to multiple facility locations as needed
- Prepare meals according to company recipes (including special diets)
- Train and supervise inmates in food handling and kitchen cleanliness
- Ensure food safety standards (temperature checks, inspections)
- Communicate with team members and facility staff
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and driving record check
- Food service experience preferred
