Position Summary
Ensure decorator machine is operating at peak efficiency within quality specifications.
Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
- Assist with operation of decorator equipment while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan.
- Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs).
- Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies. Assist Decorator Specialist with repair of defective parts.
- Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production.
- Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
- Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical or similar).
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
- Self-motivated with high attention to detail required.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as a team.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
