Job Title: Full-Time Shipping Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shipping Assistant to join our team full-time. This position involves packing, preparing, and shipping a variety of items, including collectibles and artwork. The ideal candidate must be able to safely lift packages weighing up to 75 pounds and assist with building boxes and light wood frames/crates for shipping. Mostly working in office, clients homes or business.
Responsibilities:
- Pack and ship packages in a safe and efficient manner
- Build boxes and light wood frames/crates for collectibles and artwork
- Handle, move, and organize items for shipment
- Assist with general shipping and warehouse duties
- Help ensure packages are prepared securely and accurately with all shipping sources, UPS, FEDEX, Freight, DLS, and the USPS
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs
- Must be bondable
- Must be able to pass routine drug testing and
Must pass an "extensive" background check
- No experience necessary; we will train the right candidate
