Kitchen Assistant (Weekends Required) — Canopy of Saratoga
Full- time Tuesday-Sunday

Canopy of Saratoga is a brand-new greenhouse café and garden center built by a fourth-generation local family. We are growing fast and looking for a talented Kitchen assistant to join our team — especially someone who shines on Saturdays and Sundays. Canopy of Saratoga is looking for a reliable, organized Kitchen Assistant to support our Kitchen Manager and help bring our new greenhouse café to life during this exciting opening season.
You are:
- Confident in the kitchen or quick to learn
- Able to work as part of a small, collaborative team
- Comfortable with basic food prep
- Good at following directions
- Calm under pressure and steady in a fast-moving environment
- Reliable and committed to a consistent schedule
- A team player who takes pride in doing things well
- Happy to work weekends (very important!)
Hours we are open:
- Tuesday-Thursday 9-5
- Friday- Saturday 9-6
- Sunday 12-4
What you’ll do:
- Assist with daily food preparation (baking cookies, quiche, muffins, heating and making soups)
- Assemble simple café dishes (soups, quiche, bagels)
- Restock and maintain the pastry case
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and organized
- Help with labeling, storing, and rotating products
- Support during peak café hours
- Assist with daily opening closing kitchen tasks
