ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

At Canopy, the Project Manager is a key role within our firm, responsible for driving the successful delivery of client engagements across Information Technology, Finance & Administration, and Grants Management services. This individual ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact, while fostering strong client relationships and mentoring project teams. A few examples of key responsibilities in this role are:
- Lead and develop project teams to ensure maximum performance by providing project guidance and direction.
- Lead projects from requirements initiation through closeout, developing project schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans.
- Coordinate internal and external project resources to adhere to established budget, timeline, and scope.
- Monitor and analyze project progress and modify/update timelines and deliverables when necessary.
- Establish and maintain client stakeholder relationships and provide routine project status updates.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to ensure project is tracked and managed appropriately.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Experience above the minimums described below may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required degree. Advanced degrees (Masters, PhD) may be substituted for up to 1 year of minimum required professional experience.
- PMP Required
- Minimum of 5 Years of project management experience, preferably in Information Technology, Finance Administration, or Grants Management fields
