You'll be in charge of developing a sales and marketing plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits, sales tours, and community networking. Responsibilities:
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
- Develop and maintain connections with important group and catering accounts in order to maintain and expand our market share
- Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan
- Plan and compile the department budget in accordance with the hotel's overall sales objectives and strategy, with the assistance of the director of sales and marketing
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and networking in the local community
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field a plus
- Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required
- Stays organized and manage time well
2 or more years of hotel sales experience
