This is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Seamstress located in Cape Canaveral, Fl. The Industrial Seamstress will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including operating industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble various aerospace materials. The work environment is dynamic and requires a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble various aerospace materials
• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine job specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and precision are met
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot sewing machine issues
• Interact with clients and address specific needs as part of customer service duties
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with industrial sewing machines
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training in sewing or related fields is an advantage

Physical Requirements / Work Environments

• Ability to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and manual assembly
• Visual acuity required for reading technical drawings and digital media
