The Canon-McMillan School District is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Workers to join our growing and dynamic school district.

Essential Functions, Tasks and Duties
- Assist in food preparation and distribution
- Maintain cleanliness on a daily basis
- Maintain stockrooms (including cleaning of shelves and rotating stock)
- Weekly ordering
- Keeping productions records and paperwork (including daily paperwork, weekly and/or monthly inventory)
- Operate equipment as assigned
- Observe personal regulations as set by the Department of Health (Wear a clean uniform each day, wear clean white shoes, wear a hairnet, clean hands and fingernails)
- Do not wear costume jewelry (long necklaces, rings, and watches)
- Perform any other task as assigned by management.
Knowledge/Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to exercise reasonable judgment, organization and proficiency in completion of daily food prep/service tasks
- With proper supervision, demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform assigned clerical duties and reports
- Ability to work well with people including students, professional staff, and coworkers
- Ability to perform the following physical demands on a daily/as needed basis: Lift weights up to 25 pounds, Stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, push/pull/lift as required
- Other such alternatives to the above qualifications that may be requested by the Director of Food Services, Supervisors or Building Principal
This is a 184 day position.
