Position Title: Tiger Recycling Program Student Worker
Employment Period: June – July 2026 (approximately 7 weeks) 18 hours per week
Pay: $15.16/hour (Colorado minimum wage)
Location: Canon City High School Recycling Center
Job Description:
As a student worker for the Tiger Recycling Program, you will be part of a small, motivated team working to keep our campus and community green.
Responsibilities include:
- Sorting materials into appropriate recycling categories.
- Weighing and recording recycled materials.
- Assisting with organizing the recycling workroom.
- Supporting educational outreach efforts on sustainability and recycling.
- Representing the Tiger Recycling Program with professionalism and responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Student Internship.
- Must be a current Canon City High School student.
- Preference given to Students who are in the recycling program course.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Works well independently and in a team.
- Interest in environmental conservation or community service is a plus.
