Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate to provide outstanding service and support to our clients. This role combines sales, customer service, and warehouse responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about sales and eager to thrive in a collaborative retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting clients in-person and over the phone, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.

• Process sales transactions, including stock, special, direct, and back orders, with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain a clean, organized sales counter and showroom, ensuring products are well-displayed and shelves are stocked.

• Utilize strong sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell electrical products, driving profitable sales orders.

• Accurately enter and track orders, maintaining detailed records for seamless operations.

• Assist with warehouse tasks, including stocking shelves and organizing inventory to facilitate fast order fulfillment.

• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 10 hours daily as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to build relationships and close sales.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, with additional languages a plus.

• Familiarity with retail math for pricing and discounts; knowledge of wholesale electrical distribution products is a strong advantage.

• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and adapt quickly to business needs.

• Dependable, flexible, and able to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

• No prior experience required, though familiarity with current market electrical products is a plus.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time

• Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on experience

• Schedule:

• 10-hour shift, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Monday to Friday, morning shift

• Work Location: In-person at Canoga Electric Supply, Canoga Park Branch
