Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our visitors. Housekeepers work to ensure all guest rooms and common spaces are cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and positive attitude will make a meaningful difference on our guests' visit.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation.
• Ensure all motel spaces are safe for guests and staff.
• Manage laundry duties efficiently, including stripping, folding, and organizing linens.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other tools safely and effectively.
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas in accordance with health regulations.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs while providing excellent customer service.
• Organize and manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Outdoor work experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures such as dusting, sanitation practices, and floor cleaning techniques.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
