Overview
Cannon Companies is expanding our Communications Division and looking for an experienced Coax Foreman to join our field team. If you're a hands-on leader with deep telecommunications expertise-and you take pride in building top-tier coax networks-this is your opportunity to join a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork. What You'll Do
- Install, terminate, splice, test, certify, and document coax cabling in both inside and outside plant environments.
- Perform coax splicing with precision, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
- Read, interpret, and work from complex prints, splicing diagrams, and equipment layouts.
- Support customers and project teams while maintaining Cannon's high standards of quality and service.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure appropriate safety equipment is used at all times.
- Perform coax maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
What We're Looking For AKA Required Experience & Qualifications
- 7 years of direct experience in the telecommunications field.
- Strong background in coax cabling, terminating, and testing.
- Ability to distinguish varying cable types. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours-days, nights, or both.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivated. • Must be willing to travel as required.
- This is a Safety-Sensitive Position.
- Telecom certifications are a huge plus (BICSI, FOA, etc.).
Additional Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain a medical certificate for driving commercial vehicles.
- Prevailing wages are not guaranteed.
