About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 27th Force Support Movie Theater.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems and making change when receiving payments from customers, Must also have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (I) direct cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Responsibilities:
Under general supervision performs a variety of ticket sales, food service and janitorial/custodial duties related to theater operations. Operates a cash register and serves simple foods and beverages. Maintains interior/exterior cleanliness of the theater. Opens theater and admits patrons. Enforces age limits, guardian provisions and denies entry of unauthorized patrons. Changes advertising displays. Performs a variety of janitorial/custodial duties which are related to the interior/exterior cleanliness of the theater. Uses hand or light weight powered cleaning equipment.Maintains, washes, cleans and disinfects restrooms in a clean orderly and sanitary condition.
Cleans lobby and auditorium to include seats; sweeps floors/hallways, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor surfaces as required.
Reports hazardous conditions such as broken seats, worn carpeting/ floor covering to theater manager. Operates cash register, rings up sales, collects money, makes change and completes required reports/documentation. Complies with and follows appropriate policies, regulations and procedures. May need to operate theater system. Performs other duties as required.
