The Impact You'll Make
As a Parts Counter Person, you’ll be the go-to expert for both customers and technicians, ensuring they get the right parts at the right time. Your knowledge and attention to detail will keep repair jobs moving smoothly, reduce downtime, and help our customers get back on the road with confidence.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and service technicians with a friendly, professional attitude—whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Identify, locate, and order automotive parts using our inventory system and manufacturer catalogs.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, returns, and special orders.
- Keep the parts department organized, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and processing incoming shipments.
- Provide product knowledge and guidance to help customers make informed decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the service department to ensure the timely delivery of parts for repair orders.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in an automotive parts role (dealership or aftermarket) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and terminology.
- Proficiency with parts lookup systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
