THE ROLEPosition: Bartender (Part-Time)Location: Cannery Pier Hotel, Astoria, ORCompensation: $17/hour 80% tip shareSchedule: 3 to 4 nights per week. Must be able to work weeknights and weekends as needed | 3:30 PM - 9:30 PM Sunday through Thursday and 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday.
We’re looking for a guest-focused, energetic, and creative Bartender to deliver an outstanding experience at Bar 600. If you love connecting with people, crafting beautiful drinks, and being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
Deliver fast, friendly, and professional bar service to guests
Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages to spec—classic and custom
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar environment
Engage with guests to ensure a memorable experience
Follow all health, safety, and liquor compliance standards
Complete opening, running, and closing side work
Accurately handle transactions and maintain cash drawer integrity
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a bartender preferred
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail recipes
Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
Detail-oriented, punctual, and team-minded
Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to stand for long periods and navigate a fast-paced environment
Required Certifications:
Valid OLCC Alcohol Service Permit
Current Food Handler’s Card
