CannaOne Internship Job Description
CannaOne interns will participate in the creation of content for our new publication. Our publication is in print and online. Interns will work on our publication for CannaOne independently as well as with a team of fellow interns. Interns will be responsible for submitting their assigned articles in a timely manner.
Interns must be able to commit a minimum of 2-4 hours a week to the internship. Our brand is CannaOne but we have the following subdivisions: Health Beauty, Cultivation, Business, Investment, Healthcare, Women Grow, CounterCulture and Food Beverage. Interns will be assigned to at least one of these subdivisions of CannaOne to create content. Interns will be assigned to their subdivision based on interest and experience. In addition, interns who have social media experience and interest will also be considered for social media positions/support for our social media platforms.
Interns will also be involved in assisting with our Brand Showcase projects. This project will require reaching out to potential brand partners and calling existing partner brands to solicit samples for show attendee boxes.
This is an unpaid internship. However, we would love our interns to grow with us. As we grow, we will have stipend opportunities, as well as internal opportunities within our company as they arise. As an intern, you will have exposure to these positions before external candidates.
Desired Qualifications for our interns:
Minimum one year of writing experience (college/university publication experience is a plus)
Acquiring or acquired a degree in one of these fields of study: English, Journalism, Marketing, or Business (or a field similar).
Able to commit a minimum of eight hours a week to an internship
Knowledgeable and passionate about the Cannabis industry
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and remotely
Collaborates well with others on group assignments/tasks
Social Media knowledge is a huge plus (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube)
Active portfolio of writing samples/work is a huge plus but not required
