Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Rochester, NY for a Laboratory Technician. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting quality control procedures, performing laboratory-specific tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of analytical results. Additionally, the technician will assist in the preparation and analysis of samples while maintaining the lab's safety and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining Laboratory Equipment and performing general Laboratory Skills
- Strong commitment to Quality Control and ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards
- Excellent Analytical Skills for conducting sample analysis and generating accurate results
- Experience with mammalian tissue culture, sterile technique, and general "wet lab" skills preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or a related scientific field
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
