We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. This role involves assisting customers in selecting products, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment. Previous experience in retail sales, grocery stores, or similar customer-facing roles is highly valued. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse clientele.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on product effects, consumption methods, and proper usage
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products and promote new or featured items to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos when appropriate to enhance customer knowledge and engagement
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Manage inventory levels through stock checks and reporting low stock items
- Ensure the retail space is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Handle cashier responsibilities including basic math calculations for transactions and providing receipts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store, or similar customer service roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and engage customers effectively
- Bilingual skills are a plus for serving a diverse customer base
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions
- Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately

- Strong organizational skills for merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
