Our cannabis retail store is looking for energetic & detail-oriented applicants who are adept at following directions. Retail sales is a fast-paced environment with rushes and slow periods. Customers can be difficult at times, but if you have thick skin and know how to problem solve with people, you will thrive. Not only will you thrive, but customers tip well when they feel they are taken care of.

You will be on your feet and moving around for hours on end. It is expected that you are fit enough to do this otherwise the job will be difficult for you.

We are a laidback company and provide the right tools, structure, and processes to maximize your time working with customers and earning tips! As such, we have expectations and want to know that you are the type of person that can follow instruction and even take initiative.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check.
• Understand basic retail math principles(dispensing customers accurate change- we are cash only business).
• Must have a POSITIVE attitude & provide ENTHUSIASTIC customer service.
• Must be RELIABLE, on time, and work regular scheduled hours.
• Must be COACHABLE/TRAINABLE - Leave bad habits at the door!
• Must have reliable TRANSPORTATION.
• Must work well with others - WE ARE A TEAM!!!
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Available to WORK VARIABLE SHIFTS (weekdays/weekends/holidays) - We are FLEXIBLE with schedules but we are open 7 days a week.
• Willing to work in varied weather conditions for our curbside service.
• Able to stand for prolong periods of time.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in customer facing roles such as retail, sales, & customer service.
• Experience with Point of Sales (POS) systems is a plus (BLAZE a super plus!)
• General cannabis product knowledge

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance in transactions and when scanning customers' valid government issued identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
• Educate customers on suitable cannabis products based on their preferences, budgets, and reactions to different cannabis products and strains.
• Process customers' payments using the store’s Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash.
• Stay current with product knowledge: store’s promotions, pricing changes and new products introductions.
• Weigh, package, and label cannabis products as required.
• Monitor inventory levels, document low inventory for product on shelves to ensure adequate stock on sales floor.
• Organize work station, shelves, and straighten product display case. General cleaning (vacuum, mop, wipe, organizing). Keep clean at all times.
• Ad-hoc activities for day to day operations of the business during the downtime (including but not limited to: Handle customer returns or complaints, testing product pricing/promotions in system, product barcode labeling, moving product to and from rooms, disposing of product packaging, etc.)

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
