Cannabis Cured is a locally owned Maine cannabis company focused on quality products, strong customer relationships, and building a recognizable statewide brand. We’re looking for a creative and organized Marketing & Brand Coordinator to help support and grow our presence across retail locations, wholesale partners, digital platforms, and community events.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, managing multiple marketing channels, and representing a brand in the field.
Role Overview
The Marketing & Brand Coordinator is responsible for driving day-to-day marketing efforts across photography, content creation, design, social media, website updates, menu management, email/SMS marketing, loyalty programs, and in-store brand execution.
This role requires regular travel across Maine to support 11 retail locations and wholesale partner stores, including content capture, marketing updates, and in-store events.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Photography
- Capture product, lifestyle, retail, and event photography
- Create short-form video content for social media
- Edit photo and video content for campaigns
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries
Graphic Design & Digital Assets
- Create digital and print-ready marketing materials (posters, banners, menus, ads, postcards, etc.)
- Design assets for in-store, website, email, social, and third-party advertising
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative materials
- Prepare files for print and digital distribution
Social Media
- Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms
- Engage with followers and monitor trends
- Track performance and optimize content
Website & Menu Management
- Update website content, product pages, banners, and promotions
- Maintain accurate retail and wholesale menus
- Ensure consistency across online ordering platforms
Email, SMS & Loyalty Marketing
- Build and execute email and SMS campaigns
- Manage segmentation and customer lists
- Support loyalty program engagement and retention efforts
Brand Representation & Field Marketing
- Travel to retail and wholesale locations across Maine
- Support in-store marketing, displays, and promotional setups
- Represent Cannabis Cured at events, pop-ups, and activations
- Capture content on-site and maintain brand standards across locations
Marketing Operations
- Assist in campaign planning and execution
- Coordinate promotional materials and merchandise
- Ensure compliance with Maine cannabis marketing regulations
- Monitor competitors and industry trends
Requirements
- 1–3 years of marketing, content creation, social media, or design experience
- Experience with photography and basic photo/video editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or similar tools
- Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars
- Experience with cannabis website platforms (Dutchie, APEX, or similar)
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp, DutchieLoyalty, or similar)
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel statewide
- Ability to transport and install marketing materials as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Cannabis industry or regulated industry experience
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing basics
- Experience with CRM or loyalty systems
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights)
- Experience preparing print-ready design files
