What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Bud-Tender position at Cannabicare?
Prerequisites:
Employee Badge required at time of application. Prior medical marijuana industry experience is a plus. Previous work place(s) WILL be contacted to confirm past employment. Basic Metrc experience a plus (I.E. adding patients, accepting transfers, etc) however, you will be trained on these things regardless of experience. Comfort using Flowhub point-of-sale highly recommended. An up to date understanding of the MED regulations REQUIRED.
Hours:
We have a set in stone schedule released monthly. The hours we are looking to fill are Monday-Friday 2pm-8pm, 30 hours a week. There will be opportunities to get more hours when coverage for other shifts is needed. This position also gives the opportunity to work extra hours in the grow to get closer to 40 hours if you need it!
Tips:
You will be on shift with another bud-tender, and cash tips are distributed daily between the two bud-tending employees.
Job Duties:
Arrive for work on time for each scheduled shift. Creating customer profiles in Flowhub for new patients and correctly updating existing customer profiles with new information as needed. Helping customers find product that suits their needs while accurately portraying their order in the POS system. Applying the correct medical patient label to each product going out to the customer. Signing up patients; acquiring the proper paperwork and updating their member status in Flowhub. Practicing "First In, First Out" methods when stocking/selling products each day. Keeping high traffic areas clean upon downtime. Answering phone calls through the day while performing other tasks; multi-tasking. Ability to work on a team, as well as work independently. Must be a self starter and be able to recognize when the next task is needed to be done. Must be willing to complete our daily required closing procedures.
