Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensary Manager to help us open and oversee the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have significant cannabis experience, as this is the core focus of our business. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing company. Key Responsibilities:
- Store Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functionality, and assist with maintaining policies and procedures.
- Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail associates to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Inventory Control: Manage product inventory, track stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper handling, stocking, and display.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations are in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including dispensary-specific rules such as age verification, product labeling, and security protocols.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering inquiries, and offering knowledgeable advice on cannabis products and smoke shop items.
- Sales & Marketing: Drive sales through expert product knowledge, promotions, and customer loyalty. Collaborate with leadership to develop effective sales strategies.
- Cash Management: Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and end-of-day reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment. Ensure all areas are properly sanitized and meet health and safety standards.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics for performance analysis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cannabis dispensary management is REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and CBD products.
- Familiarity with dispensary regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience managing a team, training, and motivating staff.
- Strong ability to take initiative and work independently to drive projects and ensure successful store setup.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic office tools.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OMMA credentialing and training in cannabis-related topics.
- Experience in retail management.
- Strong sales background with proven success in upselling and achieving sales goals.
