We’re looking for a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to become an integral part of our hospital family! What You’ll Do: Client Service & Front Desk Support:
- Be the welcoming face and voice of our hospital, managing client check-ins, phone calls, emails, and messages.
- Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently while educating clients on basic veterinary care.
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assist with prescription refills and client questions under veterinary supervision.
Patient Care & Veterinary Assistance:
- Support our doctors and technicians with patient handling, restraint, and preparation for exams.
- Prepare lab samples, administer vaccines, and dispense prescriptions as directed.
- Provide attentive care to hospitalized and surgical patients.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital environment.
- Assist in our grooming salon with bathing, drying, and pet restraint.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the veterinary field preferred.
✅ Skills: Excellent multitasking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
✅ Passion: A genuine love for animals and a commitment to outstanding patient care.
✅ Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including 8-10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday.
✅ Availability: Must be able to commute to or relocate to Canisteo, NY before starting.
