About the Position
The Program Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all client applications are processed appropriately and provides general support.
Key Responsibilities

Reading, assessing and responding to all requests regarding applications.

Applicant tracking throughout application process

Submission of completed applications to review committee

Office administration support in Salesforce

Conduct volunteer onboarding

Instruct clients during Team Training
-
Provide follow-up and support to graduates following Team Training

Coordinate dog transport
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
Must Have:
-
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently
-
Time management and organizational skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to organize and maintain detailed records, complete paperwork and meet deadlines

Ability to use computers; word processing, spreadsheet, email, customer relations management database, internet-based phone system

Knowledge of office equipment
Nice to Have:
-
Previous administrative or office experience preferred

Dog handling experience preferred
-
Prior experience working with people with disabilities desired

Working knowledge of Diabetes and insulin dependance
Compensation
-
Salary Range: $20-$22 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

The base salary range above represents the low and high of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
