Operates machinery and equipment that wraps and tag lumber that will be prepared for shipment.

POSITION: Utility
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Operates machinery and equipment that wraps and tag lumber that will be prepared for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the Bag and Tag include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Pulling lumber packs that are getting ready for shipment
- Covering the outside of the packs with the wrapping to protect against the elements.
- Using a stapler to secure tags and wrapping
- Stapling the end tags to the lumber pieces displaying the appropriate specifications.
- Standing and walking
- Using hands to touch, handle, or feel
- Reaching with hands and arms
- Climbing stairs
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling (On an as needed basis)
- Lifting and/or moving from 5 to 30 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and lifting and/or moving from 5 to 50 lbs., as needed
- Moving mechanical parts
- Outside weather conditions
- Vibration
- High noise levels
