Seeking a highly motivated, Process Controls Systems Integrator/Programmer for a role within a business that is very much in growth mode. An experienced integrator/programmer with 5-10 years of experience is preferred. We provide technical support to a wide variety of engineering projects, which range from day-to-day municipal and industrial engineering in all areas related to plant operation and safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
· 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in industrial process programming, ideally with a mix of engineering and design/applications engineering with emphasis on designing control panels, control systems and actual programming experience with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Modicon and Wonderware.
· Very high energy level, consistent with key leadership responsibility within a business that is very much in growth mode.
· Experience with industrial applications such as mining and water/wastewater.
· BSEE Preferred
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Review control systems drawings and job specifications for assigned projects.
· Assist project managers in the selection and acquisition of materials and equipment required for jobs.
· Coordinate design specifications with customers to optimize performance and reliability and provide training as required.
· Identify and program PLC’s for customers in accordance with engineering specifications for designated projects.
· Troubleshoot PLC’s including overhead, input scan, logic execution, and output scan.
· Develop and troubleshoot HMI programs in accordance with engineering specifications for designated projects including trending, diagnostic data, management information, and mimic diagrams.
· Develop and integrate SCADA systems and databases in accordance with engineering and customer specifications including RTU’s.
· Develop and integrate security protocols for SCADA systems.
· Program and troubleshoot OIT’s for selected customers in accordance with engineering specifications for designated projects.
· Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing of the control system.
· Perform field testing, start up, and commissioning of the control system.
· Create or review O&M manuals for PLC’s and related control systems components.
· Perform field start up and testing as requested by project managers.
· Manage software applications as required.
· Create and maintain tools for automated program development.
· Develop systems to integrate programming with design.
· Coordinate all programming to ensure quality with QA/QC as requested.
· Ensure networking and communications connectivity related to SCADA systems.
· Oversee all programming related components for assigned projects.
· Must be willing to travel as necessary dependent upon project requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
