About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, local On-Call Vending Attendant to assist with quick maintenance and weekly care for our automated cotton candy machine located inside the Rogue Valley Mall!
This is the ultimate flexible side gig—ideal for current Rogue Valley Mall employees, nearby college students, or anyone looking to earn quick extra cash on a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly Deep Care & Restock (Fridays / Flexible):
Wipe down, dust, and shine the machine (Windex, sanitizing surfaces).
Restock supplies (sugar, sticks, water).
Clean around the immediate machine footprint/floor.
Update inventory and perform basic test cycles on the touchscreen.
Handle basic cash/coin handling or deposits as needed.
On-Call Quick Fixes (As Needed):
Respond to occasional mechanical stick or bill jams.
Same-day response required (ideally within 1–4 hours, or right after your mall shift!).
Requirements & Qualifications
Age: Must be 18 years or older.
Location & Travel: Must have reliable transportation to the Rogue Valley Mall. (Current Rogue Valley Mall employees are strongly encouraged to apply!)
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using touchscreen menus, simple smartphone apps, and basic troubleshooting steps.
Dependability: Strong communication, honesty, and prompt same-day availability for quick fixes.
Physical: Able to wipe down machines, lift light restocking supplies, and perform basic hands-on cleaning.
Schedule & Hours
Total Estimated Hours: ~3 to 4 hours per week (around 12–15 hours total per month).
Weekly Service: Scheduled around Fridays (flexible timing—the mall is accessible 24/7 to employees!).
On-Call: Average of 1–2 quick service calls per week.
