Candy Cloud is a rapidly growing beverage franchise brand known for our unique drinks, vibrant store experience, and commitment to creating sweet memories for our guests. As we continue expanding across the country, we are looking for a Director of Store Operations to lead operational excellence across our franchise system.
This role is responsible for driving store performance, supporting franchise owners, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring operational consistency across all locations. The Director of Store Operations will work closely with franchisees and lead the field support team to help stores succeed.
- This position plays a critical role in protecting the brand, improving store profitability, and helping franchisees operate high performing locations.
• Oversee operational performance across all franchise locations
• Ensure stores are operating according to Candy Cloud brand standards and operating procedures
• Provide coaching and guidance to franchise owners to improve sales, profitability, and operational execution
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve store performance
Field Support Management• Lead and manage the Franchise Business Consultant and Operations Support & Training Manager
• Establish clear expectations and accountability for field support and store training
• Coordinate store visits, operational reviews, and performance improvement plans when needed
Store Opening Support• Oversee operational readiness for new store openings
• Coordinate opening training programs and ensure stores launch successfully
• Work with franchisees to ensure proper setup of operations, staffing, and training before opening
Training & Operational Systems• Maintain and improve training programs, operating manuals, and systems used across the franchise network
• Oversee the use of operational tools such as training platforms, task management systems, and POS support resources
• Ensure operational documentation remains current and effective
Vendor & Supply Chain Oversight• Manage relationships with key operational vendors and suppliers
• Work to ensure consistent product quality, reliable distribution, and cost efficiency for franchisees
• Assist in evaluating new vendors, equipment, and operational systems
Franchisee Support & Communication• Serve as a key operational point of contact for franchisees
• Help resolve operational issues and provide guidance on best practices
• Maintain strong working relationships with franchise owners and support their success
Qualifications• 5 years of multi-unit operations leadership in franchising, quick service, or fast casual restaurant environments
• Strong understanding of franchise systems and franchisee relationships
• Proven experience improving operational performance across multiple locations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Ability to travel to store locations as needed
Preferred Experience
• Franchise brand operations leadership
• Store opening experience
• Beverage or quick service restaurant experience
