Sales Associate/Cashier

As a Candy Break Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in bringing joy and satisfaction to our customers through delightful confections. You will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for everyone who visits our candy store or kiosks.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, engage them in friendly conversation, and assist them in selecting the perfect sweets to satisfy their cravings or gift-giving needs.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our diverse range of candies, chocolates, and other treats. Educate customers about different flavors, origins, and ingredients, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and organized display of products, ensuring that our kiosk is visually appealing and inviting to passersby. Regularly restock items and create eye-catching arrangements to entice customers.
• Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with integrity and attention to detail.
• Upselling and Cross-Selling: Actively promote special offers, new arrivals, and customizable options to maximize sales opportunities. Recommend complementary products and encourage customers to explore our full range of offerings.
• Hygiene and Sanitation: Adhere to strict hygiene standards and cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both customers and staff. Follow proper procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation.
• Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Teamwork: Foster a positive and supportive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices, and collaborating on tasks such as restocking inventory and kiosk maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Enthusiasm for candy and confections, with a willingness to learn about different products and flavors.
• Reliable and responsible, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to actively listen to customers' needs and preferences.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
