Unarmed Security Guard

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and utilize surveillance systems to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment while providing excellent customer service to all who enter our facility. Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entry points, parking areas, and interior spaces
• Control access by verifying identification and managing visitor logs using access control systems
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies following established procedures
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting potential theft or vandalism
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary during incidents or emergencies

Skills

• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and monitoring multiple screens simultaneously
• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and compliance regulations
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or supplies
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills to handle tense situations professionally
• Familiarity with law enforcement procedures, background checks, and incident report writing
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with visitors and staff
• Basic first aid skills including CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with fire safety protocols
• Experience in physical security measures such as access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and loss prevention techniques
