We are currently looking for a qualified Concierge Director
The Concierge program is a vehicle to transport information from our patients and families to our multi-disciplinary team of professionals. The concierge gathers information from our patients and families and allows for our team to anticipate the initial interactions with our patients and families – in turn allowing Candlewood Valley facilities to create and provide individualized treatment and care to those that we serve. The Concierge receives vital information from our families and patients and shares this information with the multi-disciplinary team of care providers. The Concierge follows our residents throughout their care experience paying close attention to detail, preference and need. The concierge understands that each individual deserves the best quality of service available and continues to inform the team of requests and changes.
Candidates must have a passion for working with seniors and those in need. A drive for success and a goal to thrive in a professional medical environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is a must – as well as clear written and verbal communication skills. A go-getter attitude is needed combined with the ability to work as an integral member of our professional team.
Admission Department Responsibilities (Support & Back-Up for Admissions Director)
- Must be able to answer and accept admissions; obtain authorizations for managed care; secure appropriate bed and room for admission; execute a room readiness check to ensure room is cleaned, bed is made, all drawers and closets are clear, all equipment is removed, and bed, phone, and tv are in working order.
- Must be able to upload admissions, run all Medicare, Medicaid, AARP and verify dates and eligibility, collect social security number, upload all documents into Matrix, distribute all admissions notices, ensure all necessary documents are received prior to admission including Ascend, Medication Administration Records (MARS), COVID and Flu documentation.
- Must scan and upload all appropriate documents into Matrix, add social security numbers to Assessment Pro, prepare admission folders with name and room number and meet with residents to conduct sign-ins and gain necessary authorizations.
- While covering for Admissions Director, must notify hospital case managers of how long you will be covering, reply to all incoming inquiries and send long term applications via email when appropriate.
- Continuously shadow Admissions Director and attend all training sessions extended.
In-House Marketing and Concierge Responsibilities
- Update Patient/Resident Directory as needed.
- Responsible for conducting audits, such as patient and resident satisfaction, call bed audits, and dietary audits.
- Budget, plan and execute weekly programming for short-term rehab patients: entertainment, arts & crafts, health education, etc.
- Design and print necessary promotional materials.
- Regularly use the food/beverage cart to execute programs to all residents and patients.
- Conduct special monthly events for residents and patients.
- Build database of all patients, residents, loved ones and visitors including addresses, emails and phone numbers.
- Obtain at least one testimonial per month.
- Increase positive Google reviews and build social media traffic to our LinkedIn and Facebook pages.
- Support marketing department with staffing recognition, patient enrichment and community outreach programs.
- Responsible for submitting weekly status reports and attending Monthly Marketing Meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
