Room Attendant - Laundry Attendant

Duties and responsibilities of dual role include:

Receive and sort soiled laundry

Load and unload washers and dryers; select appropriate settings and measure laundry chemicals as needed

Operate washers and dryers in accordance with safety guidelines; wash and fold clean items and return to designated areas

Clean guestrooms mid-stay and after departure

Make beds

Replace dirty linens and towels

Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses, and notepads

Upholding the hotel’s confidentiality and security standards

Respecting “do not disturb” signs and the guest’s privacy

Qualifications:

• Highly organized.
• Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 20 pounds.
• Strong Guest Service Skills
• Must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers.
