Overview
As an Experienced Hotel Laundry Attendant, you’ll keep guest linens and other textiles clean, cared for, and ready for use. You’ll strip rooms, operate laundry equipment, handle materials safely, and help maintain a clean, organized work area. Your impact: Careful, timely laundry service helps hotel guests enjoy clean linens and supports smooth daily operations.
Duties
- Sort, load, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments using laundry washing equipment and industrial dryers
- Select and use laundry detergents appropriately; follow sanitation practices and safety standards in production.
- Move laundry with push carts, using safe materials handling and manual handling practices, including when heavy lifting is required.
- Check items for cleanliness and damage, keep work areas clean, and respond to service requests with customer service in mind.
Experience
- Hotel experience and prior experience in laundry services are preferred.
- Experience with cleaning, laundry, garment care machine operation, industrial dryers, and textile cleaning is valued.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, sanitation procedures, IHG Standards and equipment instructions is essential.
- Physical ability to push carts and perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely is required.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
