As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facilities, ensuring that guests and residents enjoy a welcoming atmosphere.
This is a full time position and your hours will not be cut back when it slows down, there is always something to do to keep our hotel clean and guests happy.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent hospitality services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties.
