Duties

• Direct and supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and aligned with brand standards.
• Lead by example through hands-on cleaning tasks, including detailed room cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation to uphold quality standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and procedures to maximize efficiency and consistency across all spaces.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff to foster a high-performance team committed to excellence.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and facilities to identify areas for improvement or immediate attention.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-clean initiatives during low occupancy periods.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments with a strong background in janitorial or custodial work.
• Expertise in cleaning techniques including detailed surface sanitation, industrial cleaning methods, and floor care (e.g., carpet extraction, polishing).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while performing hands-on cleaning duties.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial cleaning supplies and equipment handling.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills for training staff and coordinating with other departments.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations is highly desirable.
