What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate and Night Auditor Full and part time position at Candlewood Suites - Louisville Fair/Expo?
General responsibilities
- Check guests into and out of hotel in an accurate, efficient and courteous manner
- Efficiently and accurately handles all payments received at the property. this may be in the form of cash, credit card, etc
- Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to rooms and general information regarding the hotel, its amenities and the surrounding area and its businesses.
- Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction
- Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with the appropriate greeting.
- Greet guests warmly and perform registration procedures
- Post all charges to guest accounts in an accurate and timely manner. Upon checkout ensure that all charges and collect payment.
- Sell and confirm room reservations using selling techniques and strategies
Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous front desk experience is a plus
- Excellent written and oral skills required
- Positive interpersonal skills required
- Excellent computer and typing skills required. Excel and Word proficiency is desired
This is an hourly position. Compensation based on experience.
