Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. THIS IS AN HOURLY LEADERSHIP POSITION
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate methods for different surfaces.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist with laundry services when necessary to maintain inventory of clean linens.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices is an asset.
- Proficient in floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance.
